Desta forma, vamos postar algumas sentenças relacionadas ao ESPORTE.

    

1. Marcar(gol,ponto): To score

Ex: The striker scored two goals in the second half. 

(O atacante marcou dois gols no segundo tempo.)

2. Jogo muito disputado: Hard-fought game

Ex: That was a hard-fought basketball game.

 (Esse foi um jogo de basquete muito disputado.)

3. Empatar(como resultado final): To tie/To draw

 Ex: Italy tied with Ireland. (A Itália empatou com a Irlanda.)

4. Empatar(durante o jogo): To equalize

Ex: They just need to equalize.

 (Eles só precisam empatar o jogo.)

5. Desempatar: To break the deadlock.

Ex: He broke the deadlock in the injury time. 

(Ele desempatou nos acréscimos.)

6. Vencer(campeonato,corrida,jogo): To win

 (Senna venceu quatro corridas seguidas.)

7. Derrotar/Vencer(oponente): To beat/Defeat

10. Machucado(Jogador,atleta): Injured

11. Enfrentar(Oponente):To face
